Where is it?
The BBQ’s are generally run out of Rydalmere Bunnings – 316 Victoria Road, Rydalmere.
Please reach out to the group if you need a lift to Bunnings.
What time?
From 7:30am-4:30pm in 2hr shifts. You are welcome to do more than one shift, but must be able to stay for at least 2 hours.
Why do you need so many people?
Bunnings require at least 5 people on site at all times to remain COVID-19 compliant. The roles include a cook, someone to take orders, someone to hand orders to customers, someone to take money and a greeter/COVID marshall.
Can I bring my child?
You can bring your child and have them sit behind the tent or they can assist by being the greeter. Suggest bringing a chair or something to occupy them in case they get bored. Youth cannot handle food or money at this time.
Why do we do these events?
This is a good way for the group to raise funds to help supplement fees for camps and other events held by Scout NSW or the group throughout the year. Your time is always appreciated and will benefit your child. If you can’t help at BBQ’s that’s understandable (we’re all busy people!) and there will be other opportunities during the year
